Frequently asked questions
Does the site need WiFi or power?
According to the brochure, the camera runs on a solar panel and battery and connects over 4G, so it needs neither WiFi nor grid power. 4G coverage at the site must still be checked.
Is footage recorded?
The camera supports cloud storage for alarm videos and a TF card up to 128 GB. The brochure does not describe round-the-clock recording; the system prioritises recording on detection.
What about several cloudy days?
The 8000 mAh battery stores a reserve, but charging depends on sunlight. A very shaded or often cloudy site may need another solution.
Is a SIM card needed?
The camera connects over 4G, so a SIM card and data plan are likely needed. Confirm in the quotation.
How much does it cost?
